Britney and her usual bevy of photogs moseyed over to the Virgin Megastore on Sunset Blvd. last night -- and grabbed a bag full of discounted merch from the soon-to-be-defunct music emporium. Them CDs are on sale, y'all!
The deviant diva kept the drama to a minimum -- but even a trip to a CD store can be chaotic when you're the queen of pop crazazyness. Virgin announced they will be closing the landmark store next month, when it will be back to Target for Brit Brit.

WFT! So here's the deal ... Brit stopped by the Virgin Megastore on Sunset (as she's seen here), went to Malibu, picked up her favorite pap Adnan, then cruised back to her house in Bel Air.
All the while, Brit was behind the wheel -- racing at about 100 mph!, according to our photogs -- trying to hide from the rest of the pack that Mr. Adnan Ghalib was ducked down in the seat of her car!!!

Britney's Life To Be Turned Into A Movie!
Evanna Lynch, who plays the character of Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter movies, is set to play Britney Spears in a movie based on the life of the singer. According to Fox channel, the autobiographic movie will be known as Britney, born to succeed, and filming will begin in August 2008. The release date has not been announced. Evanna will play Britney from the beginning of her career, her life and all the chaos now.
Britney Spears defaults on lawsuit
A default was entered against Britney Spears involving a lawsuit that was filed against her by her former manager, Johnny Wright. The clerk of the courts signed the default on December 18, 2007, according to court papers obtained by “Extra.”
"A default is hereby entered against the Defendant, Britney Spears, for failure to file an answer or responsive pleading to Plaintiff' Complaint filed with this court on October 26, 2007, as required by Florida Rules of Civil Procedure 1.140 (a) (1) and within the time specified on the Summons." The papers show that Spears was personally served with the lawsuit at a medical building in the garage/valet area in Beverly Hills, California.
"This service was filmed by various tabloid and TV network photographers," the papers state. According to the documents, Spears never responded to the lawsuit.

Brit's Dangerous Curves
Britney had another wild night Thursday night, but this time, she was behind the wheel, gunning her Mercedes to speeds of at least 90 miles an hour on city streets!
Our photogs just came in with more details of Brit's "crazy" driving: Britney started her night on Robertson, shopping at Lisa Kline before stopping at the Starbucks up the street.
Then, when she was heading back to her house, she made a few illegal U-turns before heading back to Sunset, where she went 90mph before stopping at her second gas station of the night, to buy cigarettes (you can hear her peeling out in our video here).
She again made a pair of illegal U-turns in Malibu and Beverly Hills before heading home around 11 - but she didn't stay at home.
She came back out later that night to go to Virgin Megastore (which was closed), before heading home.
Slow down, Brit, you don't need to get anywhere that fast!
Her Mercedes SLK is built for high speeds, but Brit doesn't need to test it!

Britney Starring In New Film About Drug Use?
The producers of a new film about drug use want Britney Spears to sign on for a starring role.
"Memoirs of a Medicated Child" stars Andy Dick and is currently in pre-production.
"Extra" has received the following statement from Tommy Parker, the director and producer of the film: "'Memoirs of a Medicated Child" is in pre-production, the film is featuring Andy Dick, Ross Tyler, Peter Iacangelo, Adam Ropp just to name a few.
"As far as the others chosen, there are many negotiations in place. Nothing is said and done until the ink is dry. We would gratefully welcome Ms. Spears aboard! Tommy Parker and crew feel that she would be a great asset to the film. She is very talented young woman and look forward to working with her."
Troubled star BRITNEY SPEARS has been blasted for her erratic driving once again - this time by the paparazzi.
The singer was caught driving her white Mercedes-Benz at speeds of up to 100 miles (160 kilometers)-per-hour in Los Angeles on Thursday night (27Dec07), prompting her large army of snappers to beg her to slow down over fears for her and other people's safety.
But the Toxic hitmaker ignored the photographers calls, and continued to raise fears about her ability behind the wheel as she proceeded to make a number of illegal u-turns, as documented in footage caught by Hollywood.TV.
Her crazy driving has already caused her problems in her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, and earlier this year (07), a judge banned the singer from getting behind the wheel with her two kids in the car after a string of traffic incidents, including a hit-and-run charge.

Now a single mom with two young boys, Britney is desperately worried about her sister’s future – and livid with her mother for keeping Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy a secret from her, sources say.
Britney was caught flat-footed when the pregnancy was announced first uttering her trademark, "What?" then telling the photographers that constantly surround her that broke the news to Britney that she didn't believe that her sixteen year old sibling was really pregnant.
"Britney found out about Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy when friends and family members started calling her and asking if the story was true. Britney was furious,” said the source close to the 26-year-old pop singer.
The report claims that Britney is now trying to help her sister as best she can from a distance (Brit is in LA while Jamie Lynn is in Louisiana). "When she got Jamie Lynn on the phone, Britney started to cry and so did Jamie Lynn,” said the source.
